Here is the thing, I love LOVE. I am a hopeless romantic who grew up reading classic novels and watching romcom films. Even though I do not believe in the concept of ‘Happily Ever After’ or ‘Prince Charming’, I do believe in true love. Author Interview- Shouvik Bhattacharya

Shouvik Bhattacharya is author of India’s current best selling murder mystery novel Murder In A Minute. His debut novel explores the theme of unrequited love, jealousy and pain. He is a management graduate from S.P Jain, Mumbai and is currently working for General Electric in its leadership program. During the day, he designs analytical software which makes aircrafts fly and during the night he plots devious murder mysteries. He is a die-hard fan of Manchester United and you might easily find him reading, in a café or a bookstore in Bangalore. I had the opportunity to ask Shouvik a few questions. Here they are:

Top Five Childhood Books

There is something about stories we read as a child that have access to the rawest of nerves. Couple of days ago, I went to my favorite bookstore. While walking through the aisles, somehow I ended up in the children’s section. There in the middle of a book store, I started reminiscing about the time when I was getting into reading. As a kid, I used to read a lot of Hindi and Bengali books. I want to share these books with you. Most of them are written in regional language but the English translation of the same are easily available online. All these books are very close to my heart and shaped my identity as a reader that I am today.
