20 Most Romantic Quotes From Literature

Here is the thing, I love LOVE. I am a hopeless romantic who grew up reading classic novels and watching romcom films. Even though I do not believe in the concept of ‘Happily Ever After’ or ‘Prince Charming’, I do believe in true love. There is not much that I find more valuable than finding a love that is all consuming. So get ready for some severe swooning as I have compiled some of my all-time favorite literary romantic quotes. Also, do not forget to share your favorite romantic quotes in the comments section.

If you like this post, please share it with your friends. Also do not forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram. I share my book related thoughts there.

  1. What a beautiful collection Shikha 😊 I would like to add two of my favourite quotes:
“If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane” – Looking for Alaska
“Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.” – A walk to remember

  2. Amazing compilation Shikha 🙂
though I love some of above you mentioned, but there are two that i would love to add
It’s just that I don’t want to be somebody’s crush. If somebody likes me, I want them to like the real me, not what they think I am. And I don’t want them to carry it around inside. I want them to show me, so I can feel it too.
    – The Perks of Being a Wallflower

there are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. There’s .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities. …..
…..I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I’m grateful.
    – The Fault in Our Stars

(not a love quote may be.. but I love this one from The perks of being a wallflower, and it’s absolutly true)
We accept the love, we think we deserve.
    – The Perks of Being a Wallflower
